As we all know, Suffolk boasts a rich tapestry of cultural delights, from its picturesque landscapes to its vibrant local communities. But perhaps one of its most celebrated contributions is to the UK drinks industry.
Renowned for its exceptional ales and ciders, Suffolk stands as a beacon of quality and craftsmanship in the realm of beverages. And what better way to celebrate this legacy than with a cider and ale festival?
Organised by local event planners, Suffolk’s latest cider and ale festival brought together enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike for a day of revelry and indulgence. And, standing at the heart of the celebrations, ready to satisfy rumbling tums, was Hog Roast Laxfield!
Hog Roast Laxfield was proud to play an integral role in this celebration of Suffolk’s finest libations and, at the client’s request, presented our Classic Hog Roast Menu to the crowds. After all, nothing pairs with a refreshing glass of cider or ale quite like a well-cooked hog!
And just as we had anticipated, our gluten-free rolls overflowing with succulent pulled pork, topped with sage and onion stuffing, a dollop of tangy applesauce, and the pièce de résistance—crispy, crackling perfection, proved to be an irresistible treat for the attendees.
But it wasn’t just about the food. The festival pulsated with energy, fueled by live music performances that set toes tapping and hips swaying. And as guests savoured their hog roast baps, they had the opportunity to partake in mini workshops, where they could concoct their own flavoured ciders and ales. This immersive element elevated the festival beyond mere indulgence and made the day unforgettable for all who took part.
When the festival wrapped up late that afternoon, our team was glad to have taken part in the event. For us at Hog Roast Laxfield, being part of such a dynamic and community-driven event was a true pleasure.
Seeing smiles on the faces of festival-goers as they savoured our hog roast creations filled us with immense pride. It’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do – bringing people together over delicious food and shared experiences. We’d love to do it all over again!
