One of the most important things for any caterer is to try and be out meeting as many new potential customers as possible. Just from events you always get a bit of added advertising by just being out in front of and serving guests your foods. If a guest loves what you serve them, more often than not they’ll come up to ask about your services for a future event, or will ask the host for your contact details at a later date.
But that form of advertising relies on the guests that are already at your events, so at Hog Roast Ixworth we like to find other avenues to get our name out there. One of our favourites are wedding fairs, often put on by our own friends and partners in the wedding industry. Wedding fairs, such as the one put on by the excellent folks at The Newmarket Wedding Show, are an excellent place to get out in front of peopl
e looking for various wedding services and show off the very best of your services in a fun-filled, party-like environment.
The Newmarket Wedding Show was certainly one such atmosphere. Held out of the Newmarket Racecourse and reportedly attended by around 250 guests, the Hog Roast Ixworth team had an excellent time setting up our own vendor stall and chatting to the many guests that couldn’t help but come on and get a look at our delicious hog roast services. There were so many vendors on show that it was a privilege to have our own stall be so well attended. We enjoyed chatting to every last one of you that came by our stall and we hope that those of you we discussed wedding dining options with will be soon again soon!
