Here at Hog Roast Newmarket, we understand how stressful planning a wedding can be, amongst all of the excitement and planning, making so many decisions can be an overwhelming thing. Which is why we strive to take the pressure off any of the happy couples that book with us, and seamlessly turn your dream day into a reality.
Which is exactly what we provided last Sunday, a crisp autumn day was the perfect chance to head down to visit us at the wedding fair held at the Newmarket Wedding Show, on the Rowley Mile. Doors to the event opened at 10:50am but our team was hard at work long before the event began, prepping mouthwatering samples on site and gathering all of the information you need to create your perfect day. As excited couples arrived, with moodboards in hand and visions in their minds, we were proud to be the most delicious smelling stands in the venue.
The Hog Roast Newmarket team served up warm, freshly carved samples of our signature hog roast menu, which is always a crowd-pleaser. Our friendly catering team chatted their way through the entire day, sharing menu tips and advising how we can provide a completely bespoke menu. No event is out of reach, we can cater for any type of venue, party size and dietary requirements. There is something so touching about watching a couple try our crackling for the first time and exchange that “Oh wow, we need this at the wedding” look.
The show itself was beautifully organised, with everything from florists and venue stylists to suit tailors and photographers. But for us, the most rewarding part was hearing how many guests had already heard of our Hog Roast Newmarket services through friends, previous events, or local groups.
We always love to hear the positive feedback from our guests about the services we can provide. One of the most frequent compliments we received was about the flexibility of our menus, the variety of sides or that a hog roast can be the focal point of an elegant event or a rustic get together simply through the way the event is organised or styled. By the time we wrapped up the event at 3pm, we’d handed out stacks of samples and countless brochures.
