Hog Roast Woodbridge Served An Elegant Three-Course Spread At This Stunning Wedding!

Last Saturday marked a day of timeless beauty and vintage elegance as Hog Roast Woodbridge had the honour of bringing Calvin and Rosie’s dream wedding to life. Set against the backdrop of a quintessentially British manor house, the couple’s celebration exuded sophistication, with the estate’s ornate detailing and original fixtures adding a touch of grandeur to the charming space.

Having been recommended by a friend who was impressed with our services at her own wedding last year, the pressure was on for the Hog Roast Woodbridge team to live up to our reputation. The stakes were high, and our catering manager, Tim, took charge, travelling to the venue in a van loaded with our top-of-the-range equipment and the finest, freshest ingredients sourced from local Suffolk farms.

In the hours leading up to the celebration, the Hog Roast Woodbridge team was a flurry of activity, ensuring every detail was perfect. The Formal Wedding Catering Menu was meticulously prepared, and the dining tables were adorned with real crockery and high-quality napkins. Name cards, guest lists, and water and wine jugs were set out with precision, creating an ambience of refined elegance.

Hog Roast WoodbridgeAs the dining hall filled with 200 eager guests, the culinary journey began with platters of delectable canapés. From pan-seared fillet of beef to handmade gourmet sausages, smoked Scottish salmon, roasted duck wraps and spring rolls, and chicken satay skewers, each bite was a tribute to the farm-fresh produce that Hog Roast Woodbridge proudly serves.

The celebrations truly commenced with the entrance of the newlyweds and the heartfelt speeches, leading seamlessly into the sumptuous three-course meal. The duck starter, featuring roasted breast of Grassingham duck with an orange and pomegranate dressing, received resounding praise from guests.

For the main course, guests were treated to the choice of spit-roasted English lamb, whole-roasted free-range chicken, or grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers, accompanied by side salads and buttered new potatoes. The meal concluded with a sweet finale – either profiteroles or vacherins of strawberries with passion fruit cream – served with precision and flair by our attentive serving staff.

Calvin and Rosie couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day, and they expressed their gratitude to the Hog Roast Woodbridge team for making their wedding a stress-free and enjoyable experience from start to finish.
