Hog Roast Dalham Makes James and Harriet’s Wedding Unforgettable

Weddings are all about celebrating love, laughter, and shared moments and what better way to bring everyone together than over delicious food? On 9th August 2025, Hog Roast Dalham was thrilled to cater James and Harriet’s special day at Dalham Village Hall, serving up a feast that left all 40 guests smiling.
For this celebration, the centrepiece was a whole roasted pig with crisp, golden crackling, served with apple sauce and sage and onion stuffing. Guests could enjoy a selection of bread rolls and wraps, including gluten free options, making it easy for everyone to build their perfect plate. The buffet was accompanied by a variety of fresh and tasty sides: tomato and mozzarella salad, mixed salad, and creamy coleslaw. For the potato lovers, guests had the choice of herb dressed new potatoes or a mix of freshly made chips and sweet potato fries, served with sauces and a sprinkle of salt and vinegar.
Hog Roast Dalham ensures everyone has something delicious to enjoy. For those seeking vegetarian or vegan alternatives, there were two mouthwatering options: grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers (without halloumi for vegans), served with wraps, tzatziki, and sweet chilli sauce, or vegan pulled jackfruit in a bun with hickory BBQ sauce and a crunchy slaw. Every guest had plenty of choice, making sure no one felt left out.
The food was served buffet style on wooden disposable crockery with matching cutlery, keeping the experience relaxed and informal. Our Catering Manager Tim oversaw the service, ensuring everything ran smoothly while the couple and their guests could simply enjoy the party, the company, and the gorgeous summer evening.
