To celebrate her 40th birthday, Emily enjoyed a wonderful outdoor party, with 60 guests invited to enjoy the occasion. The event was a great success, with the sun shining in the sky all day, which allowed the guests to make the most of the outdoor space and soak up the good weather. For the catering, our manager Tim was hired to serve a menu that was suitable for guests of all ages, with plenty of options to choose from. Emily decided that our BBQ menu was perfect, and we agreed that this was sure to be a success at the party!
On the day of the party, the Hog Roast Kersey team arrived at the venue in the morning, with plenty of time to prepare for the 14:00 serving time. Our menu included a broad selection of main dishes, including juicy British beef burgers, succulent pork sausages, Thai chicken kebabs, and BBQ-marinated spareribs. These dishes were served in fresh bread rolls, with wholemeal and gluten-free options also available, and accompanied by fried onions and cheese. For meat-free guests, we provided pulled jackfruit, which was served in a fresh bun and steeped in our Hickory BBQ sauce. For the sides, the guests could enjoy freshly made chips, herb dressed new potatoes, homemade gourmet coleslaw, a seasonal green leaf salad, and crudites for the little ones. The Hog Roast Kersey team loved catering for this party and it was great to see that even Piglet the Pony approved of our menu- especially the sausages!
