FAQ – Hog Roast Catering

1. Do you provide catering for those with dietary restrictions?

We do our best to cater for people with certain dietary requirements. All our menus include vegetarian options, and we can also add vegan items where possible. Gluten-free options are also available. We can cater for religious dietary requirements (eg with certified halal chicken). Please get in touch if you have any queries.

What kind of events do you cater for?

We cater for a wide variety of events, including both corporate and private functions. Corporate events include company celebrations & anniversaries, charity balls, staff celebrations, product launches, seminars and training days etc. Private functions can include birthdays, wedding parties, funerals and christenings etc.

3. Can you provide meals for children?

You can rest assured that the children will be well catered for with child friendly food and service. In the past we have provided hot dogs and burgers, which go down a treat! Please inform us of child numbers in advance.

4. What are the minimum or maximum numbers you cater for?

No event is too large or too small. We have a number of service teams and these resources are utilised as required for the larger functions. We cater for large corporate events and also for intimate dinner parties at home.

5. What is the difference between table and buffet service?

Table service is where our team works off a table plan provided by you and the waiting staff will serve and clear one table at a time starting with the top table. For buffet service, someone will call one table up at a time to a hot buffet station. Here our chefs will plate up the guests food. For both the waiting staff will clear all plates and cutlery for the guests.
  


6. Do you have set prices?

We know that every event is unique, that is why all of our quotes are bespoke and based on your exact requirements. So please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will get a quote, or two, over to you as soon as possible.

7. Can we alter menus?
Yes, Yes, Yes! Our menus are purely suggestions, we want to hear your ideas and create dishes to reflect you as a couple. Our aim is for you and your guests to love every mouthful of your food. Our team will help you put together bespoke courses and help aid your decisions.


8. Does the location of our event matter?

No – we’re happy to cater for any event, no matter the location. We prepare and cook all food from fresh. We then serve wherever you want, whether at work, at home, in a marquee, at a local village hall or even in the luxury of your own (or someone else’s!) yacht.

9. Do we have to have a three-course formal meal?

No, we are happy to devise menus for two-course meals, family-style services, buffets or canapé receptions – it is entirely up to you!  We can advise depending on the timings of your day, but again, it is your day.
