Hog Roast Stradishall are experts in creating celebrations to remember, fuelled by delicious food and great company. This is exactly what we aimed to achieve on Sunday 31st May when we brought together an extended family with one of our bespoke menus.
Bringing together 64 guests for an afternoon of celebration, the event was all about spending quality time with loved ones and creating memories that people would be talking about for years to come. From the moment guests arrived, there was a fun and welcoming atmosphere, with friends and family catching up, sharing stories and looking forward to a delicious feast carefully prepared and service led by our friendly catering manager Tim and the team.
For this special occasion, guests were treated to our popular Alfresco Menu, which is perfect for relaxed gatherings and outdoor celebrations. The dining experience began with antipasti platters, offering a delicious selection of flavours that encouraged guests to mingle and enjoy the occasion whilst preparing their appetites for the rest of the feast. The main event, of course, was our signature hog roast. We always slow roast the meat on site, working hard long before the hosts and their guests arrive. The pork was carved in front of our guests for an extra interactive touch. To complement the flavour of the meat, we also served up roasted new potatoes, fresh tomato and mozzarella salad, mixed green salad and creamy coleslaw. Guests could help themselves to a generous plate filled with flavour, creating the ideal meal for a relaxed family gathering. In addition, 86 sausages were served throughout the event, providing another popular option that both adults and children thoroughly enjoyed.

As the afternoon drew on, guests were spoilt for choice with a selection of indulgent desserts. Rich cheesecake and irresistible profiteroles provided the perfect sweet treat, the perfect ending to the delicious feast, we were happy to see that everyone left feeling well fed and smiling.
The use of wooden crockery and cutlery were the perfect addition to the relaxed alfresco theme, while our experienced team ensured every aspect of the catering ran seamlessly. From setting up and serving to keeping the food stations fully stocked, we handled everything from our side so the hosts could focus on enjoying the celebration with their loved ones.
