Hog Roast Diss can transform a regular evening into a spectacle to remember, whether it’s a birthday bash or a staff lunch, we can cater for any theme or party size. On 1st November, we transformed the Mill Lodge in Bressingham, Diss to an autumnal halloween scene, for our host Jeremy.
What’s a party without a great feast? That’s why we brought our signature Southern Slow Roast along to the event, which was a crowd-pleaser and had guests queuing up for seconds. Our friendly catering manager Tim and the Hog Roast Diss team set up earlier in the day, to fill the crisp evening air with a tasty aroma of our slow roasted hog.
The show-stopped was a selection of mouthwatering meats, starting with tender beef brisket, going along to minted lamb and smoky BBQ pork, all of which melted in the mouth after being slow roasted on site for hours. Guests could also pile their plates high with a range of sides, from crunchy coleslaw, to creamy mac and cheese and herby new potatoes. All of which were the perfect combination for a chilly autumn evening.
Our catering team always considers all dietary requirements, ensuring everyone could enjoy this delicious feast, no matter what their preference. There was also a selection of freshly baked bread rolls and wraps, so that guests could build their perfect plate, alongside colourful salads and sauces.
Everything was served up on bamboo crockery, which fit in perfectly with the farm setting and meant that guests could focus on conversation and creating memories throughout the evening.
As the sun set, a bonfire was lit and fireworks lit up the sky above. Hog Roast Diss loved being a part of such a unique event and we loved seeing everyone’s creative and spooky costumes. It’s not often you see a vampire and a ghost tucking into a BBQ feast! The night was the perfect balance of flavour and fun and we were sure that every guest will be talking about this Halloween night for years to come.
