It is a privilege to work this job during the wedding season. How many other jobs in life take you to so many lovely people embarking on a new journey together/ How many jobs bring you to the event that is the most special in many people’s lives? How many jobs do you get to help shape those memories and add to them? Very few is the answer, but catering at Hog Roast Woodbridge is one of them!
Where it not for wedding catering we would never have met Sam and Rebecca, who just this past weekend tied the knot on a new life of love and joy together as 70 came out to celebrate their wonderful wedding. Joining along with those 70, head chef Tim and the Hog Roast Woodbridge team.
A lovely sunny day greeted the wedding and allowed our team to set up our serving tent outside in glorious sunshine. All the better for our traditionally made hog roast, which glistened gold in the summer sun, catching the eye of guests right away as they arrived at the reception. But before they could enjoy this main event, the Hog Roast Woodbridge team had an equally as eye catching starter for them in our antipasti grazing table. A colourful arrangement of the finest Italian meats and cheeses, artisanal breads, salad items, and dipping oils, our grazing table says summer weddings all over!
Our hog roast buffet was to follow. As we traditionally do at Hog Roast Woodbridge for weddings, we invited the bride and groom to make the first cut in our roast before chef Tim took over to expertly carve it all for serving. That is a moment that is immortalised forever for brides and grooms that dine with Hog Roast Woodbridge, adding even more to their special day and making our dining services all the more worthwhile!
