As we do every week, we have an incredible Hog Roast Sudbury event to tell you all about from this past week. As this blog space well covers, our job affords us the privilege of joining for truly special landmark occasions in life, where we get to join people from all across the UK on some of the happiest and most remembered days of their lives.
This event has the potential to be one of those. An exceptional 80th birthday celebration, the Hog Roast Sudbury team joined Marie at her beautiful riverside home to celebrate with 50 of her friends and family. 80 years old is an incredible age to be celebrating, especially when you have as much life as someone like Marie, who was incredible with our head chef Tim and the rest of the Hog Roast Sudbury team. We were well set up for success right away by being given a prime spot in her wonderful garden to set up all of our equipment and our serving tent. With views to the river, it was a beautiful place to be able to carry out our work, made all the better by the lovely guests and host that we had the privilege of serving.
But the privilege was not ours alone, of course. Anyone that gets to enjoy our signature hog roast dining experience at an event will tell you that the privilege is all theirs. In this instance we won’t argue, because we know just how exceptional and novel the sight of our traditionally made hog roast really is. Brimming with style, spectacle, and plenty of authenticity, it is a dish and dining experience made for the big occasions.
The Hog Roast Sudbury team arrived to site just shy of lunchtime with our hog roast already having been cooking away through the morning in our mobile roasting machine. All that was needed on site was to put the finishing touches to it and whip our fresh accompanying dishes: sage and onion stuffing, golden crackling, apple sauce, tomato and mozzarella salad, mixed salad, coleslaw, grilled veg and halloumi skewers, and herb dressed new potatoes.
