Earlier this academic year, Hog Roast Mildenhall was contacted by a local university to arrange catering for one of the graduate celebrations taking place this summer. The event takes place after the graduation ceremony has concluded and includes a delicious buffet for graduates, family, and staff to enjoy, as well as plenty of drinks and celebrations. For the menu, our catering manager Tim has been hired to serve a classic hog roast for the event, with a selection of additional dishes to ensure that there is plenty for the guests to enjoy. All of our menus can be customised to suit the guest list, so Tim was more than happy to make some changes.
The finalised menu for this event is set to include a delicious slow-roasted hog as the main dish, which will be cooked to perfection for around five hours before being carved. Once ready, the sliced pork will be served in fresh bread rolls and accompanied by sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we will be serving succulent pork sausages and veggie sausages to create hot dogs. The mains will be served alongside homemade chips, sweet potato fries, halloumi and vegetable skewers, corn cobettes, and a selection of
seasonal salad dishes. We are expecting this menu to be a great addition to the day and it is sure to be a great way to soak up all of the alcohol that the grads will be drinking!
