This September, Hog Roast Ipswich catered for Tanya’s surprise 50th birthday party, which was a great event and was a lot of fun for everyone involved. The party was organised by Jason, who invited 75 of Tanya’s friends to attend the party RJS Siloclean, Ipswich. Our catering manager Tim was hired to provide a delicious catering menu for the occasion, with our classic hog-roast being chosen as the right menu for the guest list.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Ipswich team arrived at the venue in the morning to prepare for the 16:00 serving time. We began by slow-roasting the hog to perfection and carving it into slices, which were served in fresh bread rolls alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. For meat-free guests, we served grilled halloumi and vegetable skewers, which was a tasty meat alternative. As well as the mains, we served homemade chips, sweet potato fries, tomato and mozzarella salad, mixed leaf salad, and gourmet coleslaw. Once it was time to enjoy the meal, the guests lined up at our catering station to choose their dishes, which were served on wooden bamboo plates and cutlery. This menu was ideal for the occasion and was a perfect addition to the surprise party. It was great to see Tanya being surprised by her friends and family, as well as enjoying the entertainment and the delicious catering served by our team.
