At the end of April, Hog Roast Newmarket catered a great birthday party for Amy’s 50th birthday. The party took place in Great Bradley, Newmarket, which is a lovely location and is perfect for spending your birthday! Amy invited 70 friends and family members to join in the celebrations and chose to enjoy our Southern Slow Roast Menu, which is a delicious and varied menu. The menu needed to include a variety of dishes, including a meat-free option to ensure that there would be something for every guest to enjoy.
On the day of the party, the Hog Roast Newmarket team arrived at the venue and began preparing the dishes. The meal was set to be served at 1:30pm, so we arrived in the morning and cooked everything fresh on-site. We started by grilling vegetable and halloumi skewers, a BBQ pork butt, a Texan 24 hr beef brisket, and a pulled quarter lamb. The mains were served in fresh bread rolls and wraps alongside a selection of special recipe sauces and marinades. For the side dishes, we provided corn cobettes, crunchy coleslaw, and a selection of fresh salad dishes to create a varied and delicious main meal. The menu was served buffet style on bamboo crockery and cutlery, allowing every guest to choose a delicious meal from the dishes that we had to offer. Our catering was a great addition to the event and made for a perfect party lunch!
